Our batch of gluten-free products for this Christmas is the perfect gift. The lot is packaged in a box with a spectacular presentation: wrapped with a red Christmas ribbon, closed with a nice sealing wax seal and inside a pack of recipe books and Christmas card, as you can see in the last picture.
For this Christmas gluten-free lot we have chosen 6 products suitable for coeliacs and gluten intolerant people as they are gluten-free. Two of the products that make up this lot are part of the gluten-free and lactose-free line of La Granja Foods. The other three products we have chosen from friendly brands that we admire and with which we collaborate.

Special Christmas lot of nougat.
La Granja Foods' commitment to co-branding began in 2021, with the aim of supporting La Fageda's solidarity project. This collaboration has made it possible to produce high quality products through a business structure with a social purpose, which seeks to give meaning to the lives of people in vulnerable situations. As a result of this alliance, two sponge cakes and a mini muffin were launched on the market, the star ingredient of which is fresh natural yoghurt from La Fageda.
Thanks to the excellent reception from consumers, La Granja Foods decided to create a new line: Special Editions, which has opened the door to new collaborations with companies that share not only its commitment to quality, but also its know-how. In this line, innovative products have been incorporated such as the Magdalena de Miel con Própolis, developed together with Alemany 1879, defenders of the rural world. Exotic Chai or Matcha tea biscuits have also been added, in collaboration with Tea Shop, a benchmark brand in the world of high quality tea. And the latest collaboration has been with Torrons Vicens.
With a history dating back to 1775 in Agramunt (Lleida), Torrons Vicens is a company with a long tradition of making nougat. For this reason, the R&D Department at La Granja Foods has worked hard to develop new textures that combine the sponginess of sponge cakes and muffins with the characteristic crunch and flavour of Torrons Vicens' traditional nougats. This has given rise to a sponge cake and a mini muffin made with hard nougat, as well as a Magnum muffin with Torta de Turrón de Agramunt. To top it all off, La Granja Foods' gluten-free and lactose-free line includes a spongy almond sponge cake, with the quality guarantee of Torrons Vicens.

Are La Granja Foods' gluten-free products safe and suitable for celiacs?
We have built a new factory to be able to produce and bake all our products free of gluten, lactose and corn, thus complying with all sanitary requirements to avoid cross contamination with the rest of La Granja Foods production, guaranteeing safety for the consumer.
All our gluten-free products contain less than 20 ppm of gluten, a parameter that current regulations establish as the limit for a food to be suitable and safe for coeliacs and gluten intolerant people.
What is IFS FOOD certification?
At La Granja Foods we have the IFS 2023 certificate with a High Level result, and it has been 9 consecutive years achieving IFS certification on an annual basis.
IFS Food is a food safety standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) for auditing companies involved in food manufacturing. It also audits companies that handle and package bulk food products, focusing on the quality and food safety of processed products.
Is La Granja Foods' gluten-free line a recent line?
Yes, the gluten-free line of La Granja Foods is our most recent project, after 6 years of research and investment, more than 1000 product tests and the manufacture of a new bakery. All this road has been worth it to achieve this great challenge, a personal and professional goal for the whole La Granja Foods family.
This project was born through the specific specifications by the Celiac Association of Catalonia: There was a need for a product free of gluten, lactose and corn free, with a different assortment to what was on the market with the aim that the consumer was one more and not special.
