Tomato Tartare

INGREDIENTS

  • Organic Sunflower Seed Breadsticks from La Granja
  • 2 tomatoes (pear or salad variety)
  • 1/2 spring onion
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Tabasco to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil, to taste

ELABORATION

  1. Start by peeling the tomatoes and removing the seeds. Once peeled and deseeded, dice the tomatoes into small cubes.” o bé “finely dice the tomatoe.
  2. Finely chop the spring onion and the capers. In a bowl, mix the chopped tomato with the spring onion and capers.
  3. Add the whole grain mustard, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco to taste. Stir well with a spoon, taste, and adjust the seasoning with more mustard, soy sauce, or salt if needed.
  4. Use a ring mold to shape the tartare on the plate. Place some arugula (rocket) at the base of the plate.
  5. Serve the tomato tartare with the Organic Sunflower Seed Breadsticks from La Granja.
