Christmas Drink with Chai Latte Cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack of Chai Latte Tea Shop Cake x La Granja Foods
  • 1 teaspoon of whole black pepper
  • 10 cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 20g of fresh ginger
  • 4 or 6 black tea bags
  • 1 liter of water
  • Milk or plant-based milk
  • Whipped cream
  • Ground cinnamon

ELABORATION

  1. In a saucepan, add the liter of water along with all the spices, and cook over medium heat for five minutes.
  2. Add the peeled and chopped ginger to the water with the spices and bring to a boil over high heat. Once it begins to boil, add the black tea bags (such as English breakfast or Earl grey), then turn off the heat. Let it steep for ten minutes with the pot covered.
  3. After this time, strain the tea into a cup, filling only 3/4 of the cup. Then, add the milk or plant-based milk to the infusion and stir well.
  4. You can decorate the festive drink with whipped cream, ground cinnamon, a cinnamon stick, or a star anise…
