ELABORATION
- Choose a nice tray or base such as a wooden board, a large tray, or even a marble surface. Cover it with parchment paper or a linen cloth to give it a rustic touch.
- Include small bowls with accompaniments: natural or plant-based yogurt, melted chocolate or cocoa cream, Cudié Catànies… This should always be the first step, as placing the bowls on the tray or base first will help you organize the rest of the ingredients around them more evenly and visually. Distribute them well across the tray so there is variety in every corner and the presentation is more harmonious.
- Cut the sponge cakes into medium portions so they are easy to pick up by hand. You can alternate the cuts to show well the contrasts of color and texture.
- Add mini muffins or cupcakes, placed harmoniously alongside the already cut sponge cakes. You can cut the muffins in half or leave them whole.
- Add fresh fruit filling the gaps with strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and cherries. This step is about adding color and freshness, but also making the tray visually full and abundant. Place the fruit in small groups, distributing it evenly so the result is attractive and appetizing.
- Finish by adding natural touches such as flowers and fresh mint leaves, which provide visual and aromatic freshness.
