
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack of Chai Latte Tea Shop Cake from La Granja Foods
- 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
- 10 cloves
- 2 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 20 g fresh ginger
- 4–6 black tea bags
- 1 liter of water
- Milk or a plant-based alternative
- Whipped cream
- Ground cinnamon
ELABORATION
- In a saucepan, add 1 liter of water with all the spices and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add the peeled, chopped ginger and bring to a boil over high heat. Once it begins to boil, add the black tea bags (such as English Breakfast or Earl Grey), then turn off the heat. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes
- After this time, strain the tea into a cup, filling it three-quarters full. Then, add milk or a plant-based alternative and stir well.
- You can decorate the festive drink with whipped cream, ground cinnamon, a cinnamon stick, or a star anise pod.
