
- 1 pack of La Granja Original Sponge Cake
- Strawberry or mixed berry jam
- Fresh strawberries
- Sliced almonds
- Pastry cream
- Fresh whipped crea
ELABORATION
For this recipe, you’ll need a fairly deep dish, as the dessert has several layers.
- Cut each portion of the La Granja Original Sponge Cake into small squares and spread a little jam on each piece. To create the first layer, place the coated sponge cake pieces in the dish.
- Next, cut the strawberries in half and arrange them on top of the sponge cake and around the dish.
- Using a piping bag, add fresh whipped cream around the strawberries and on top of the sponge cake. Repeat the same process with the pastry cream.
- Add as many layers of sponge cake, strawberries, whipped cream, and pastry cream as you like, depending on the depth of your dish.
- For the final touch, cover the dessert with whipped cream and toast the sliced almonds before sprinkling them over the Trifle.
