Frozen Yogurt Bar with Organic Oat & Flaxseed Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • Organic Oat & Flaxseed Cookies from La Granja
  • 2 plain 0% fat yogurts
  • Agave syrup or sweetener to taste
  • Red fruits (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries…)
  • 1 lemon
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Baking paper for freezing the bar

ELABORATION

  1. In a bowl, combine the plain yogurts and agave syrup or sweetener. We used 2 tablespoons of agave syrup. Stir well until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, add the red fruits, the juice of one lemon, and half a tablespoon of ground cinnamon. Mash the fruits with a fork to create a chunky purée.
  3. In a tray or flat container that fits in the freezer, place baking paper on the bottom. Add a layer of the yogurt mixture, then spoon the red fruit purée on top.
  4. The special touch for this frozen bar: crumble the Organic Oat & Flaxseed Cookies from La Granja evenly over the yogurt and fruit layer. Place the tray in the freezer for a few hours until the bar sets.
  5. Once the frozen yogurt bar is ready, break it into large pieces to serve, as shown in the image.
