- 1 pack of La Granja Original Sponge Cake
- Strawberry or mixed berry jam
- Fresh strawberries
- Sliced almonds
- Pastry cream
- Fresh whipped cream
ELABORATION
For this recipe, you’ll need a fairly deep dish, as the dessert has several layers.
- Cut the La Granja Original Sponge Cake into small squares and spread a little jam on them. To create the first layer, place the coated sponge cake pieces in the dish.
- Next, cut the strawberries in half and arrange them on top of the sponge cake and around the dish.
- Pipe fresh whipped cream on top of the sponge cake and around the strawberries. ipe pastry cream in the same way between the layers.
- Continue layering sponge cake, strawberries, whipped cream, and pastry cream to your desired height.
- For the final touch, top the dessert with whipped cream and sprinkle toasted sliced almonds over the trifle.
